What is joefuckingrules.com?
The answer?  I’m not quite sure.  I know what I want it to be.  I want it to affect people, I want it to make them think about things and how they view the world.  Right now it is a scattered collection of random thoughts and pictures.  Soon it will be more cohesive.  Every day there will be something thought provoking and interesting (if only to me). Thanks for watching.  See you...

The Forza Conundrum...
I have not yet reached any of the higher levels yet in driver skill or car recognition.  How does one write a review?  In essence at a certain point, as with all “racers”, it becomes more of the same for the sake of a better title.   Do I dare write a review without having finished the game in its entirety?

The Truth Hurts aka "If you are going to stage...
So I just went back to an old article I wrote for Destructoid a while ago, like a looooong time ago.  Turns out one of the people I critiqued ended up posting a response to my review of the event.  All I can say is “FUCKING WOW”.  First off, I gave his production company an A, so I don’t see what the problem was.  Secondly, when someone writes a review, don’t show up in the...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Review
Joe Says: I am famous for my one word reviews.  In this instance, however, since I am sufficiently alone in my feeling on the overall value of Modern Warfare 2; I felt the need to explain myself.  Enjoy. Introduction/Background About 7 years ago, Infinity Ward released Call of Duty 1.  This game was based on the Quake III Arena engine, and was a FPS based on World War II.  The game, although...

Desert Bus →
For the third year running, Desert Bus For Hope will collect donations for Child’s Play charity, an organization that provides games and toys to children’s hospitals. They’ll play a marathon-length session of the infamous “Desert Bus” mini game from Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors. The “Desert Bus” sequence is notorious because it recreates the drive between Tucson and Arizona in real...

Enough with the H1N1 Already...Just...No. →
Ok another bad article full of hyperbole and borderline bullshit.  In fact, anyone that reads and processes anything contained in the article should walk away feeling better, NOT WORSE.  However, that won’t happen, people will scan it and catch the highly inflammatory parts and skip over things like this…and I quote: “The researchers simply applied a unique multiplier to each...

People I know
ronworkman: whateveryoucallit: riser: I know someone who is extremely Liberal. He of course complains about Glenn Beck and the “brainwashed conservatives” while quoting Keith Olbermann and reciting the Obama administration’s talking points like they are gospel. I deal with this person by agreeing with him about how CNN is terrible and The Colbert Report is awesome. I know someone who is...

You can't go home...but maybe you can shop...
So took the spawn to my parents yesterday.  Every-fucking-thing is different.  Houses are changed, streets are newly paved, and places I used to haunt are long gone.   How in the fuck did I get so old?  When did this happen?   I feel like an hour ago I was riding my GT down to pick up Pearl Jam’s debut album Ten, and a half hour ago I was driving the camaro to hockey practice.  Yesterday was...
